Made by Stonier Wines, our Chardonnay has a lively nose with lifted white florals, juniper and spicy herbal lemon. Showing plenty of zesty lemon and firm white plum on the palate which will gradually expand over next 12 months and beyond.
2018 was a warm and generous vintage for Chardonnay on the Mornington Peninsula. Our Chardonnay was hand picked and gently whole bunch pressed then fermented in French Oak pungeons (20% new) for 8 months. During that time the ferment lees was stirred occasionally for added texture and approximately 50% was allowed to go through the acid softening malo-lactic fermenation.
